DOCTORAL AND POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS 2026–2029
The Human Development Research Center (INKAM) invites applications for its 2026 Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program designed to support innovative, policy-relevant, and academically rigorous research in the field of human development.
The program aims to foster high-quality research conducted at universities, research institutes, think tanks, and academic centers in Türkiye and abroad.

Applications are welcome in, but not limited to, the following fields:

Duration
Fellowships may be awarded for periods ranging from:

12 months minimum
-
36 months maximum
All selected projects are expected to commence during the 2026 calendar year.
Financial Support
The level of support will depend on the nature of the project and the host institution.
In addition to the fellowship stipend, applicants may request supplementary funding for:

Field research and data collection

Library and archival research

Research materials and databases

Health insurance contributions

Conference and workshop participation

Publication and dissemination activities

Visiting researcher mobility
Eligibility
Doctoral Fellowships
Applicants must:
-
Be enrolled in or admitted to a doctoral program;
-
Demonstrate strong academic potential;
-
Submit a high-quality research proposal.
Postdoctoral Fellowships
Applicants must:

Complete their PhD degree no later than 31 December 2026;
-
Demonstrate a strong research and publication record;
-
Submit an original research proposal aligned with INKAM’s mission and research priorities.
